Our mission statement

The Arkansas Animal Rescue Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit foundation, founded by Kathy Reese in 2006, to aid animals in the State of Arkansas.  Since then it has developed programs in pet adoption, spay/neuter assistance, and funding of other animal rescue and animal assistance non-profits.  Kathy Reese passed away in 2013. The Executive Director of the Foundation is Jaime Picton.

Here at AARF we strive to give the animals in our care, the best of care. We make sure that each one recieves a clean comfortable living space, nutritious food and clean water. All the animals here recieve plenty of exercise, the dogs are let out of their large pens to run during the day and the cats have large outside habitats that provide them with anything a cat could want to do. We also believe in trying to reduce the number of unwanted cats and dogs in the State of Arkansas, so we also offer a Low Cost Spay/Neuter Program. We always have pets for adoption, you can see them on this site and fill out our questionaire.
